After three consecutive successful year of publication of the Bengali Technical Magazine "COMPUTER JAGAT", the COMPUTER JAGAT group is now on the verge of launching another monthly technical magazine – now in a web-enabled online format. The main focus of the proposed magazine would be the dissemination of technical expertise (both theoretical and project oriented) in the current trends of computing technologies. In addition, the magazine would also serve as a first hand information repository for the working and would-be professionals in this domain.

From the objective, it is quite evident that the magazine is meant to be more learner-centric than anything else. The immediate users would obviously be the technical students all over the world in general and our country in particular. The magazine has been designed keeping in mind the current syllabus content of the different computer science related subjects taught in the engineering and technological institutes across the state. Such an endeavor would therefore certainly cater to the needs of the aspiring professionals and engineering students.

The main features of the magazine include, but not limited to, the following.

The magazine will be subject based. Each and every monthly edition of the magazine would emphasize on a particular subject topic included in the syllabus followed.
Every monthly edition on a particular subject would be mentored by an expert in that domain, who would act as an executive editor for that month.
The articles of the magazine, besides dealing with the specified topic in depth, would also act as an online resource for student for that particular topic under consideration.4.Apart from the aforestated features, the magazine would also incorporate the following format.
- At least one article of the magazine should be designed like a class lecture on the specified subject, i.e., the materials would be presented in the form of lecture notes/handouts.
- A column of the magazine would be devoted to an analysis and understanding of the present status of research works going on in the subject topic.
- Another interesting feature of the present endeavor is that the magazine would also mention a detailed listing of the premier/frontier laboratories across the world which deals with research and development on the topic of interest.
- Another column of the magazine would highlight the latest technological innovations in the respective field.
- The magazine would also provide information about the upcoming events on the field viz., new devices and technological innovations/workshops/seminars/conferences etc.
- The magazine would also help the readers explore Masters/Doctoral/Post Doctoral opportunities offered across the world on the field.
- Moreover, the magazine would present different student project ideas on the field. It would also provide technological know-how regarding the project ideas presented, thereby helping the students achieve their project objective.

A tentative schedule of the different subject topics and the corresponding executive editors/authors for the coming six month's issue is provided below.
